The German cell-therapy company, Apceth GmbH, has appointed Stefanos Theoharis as chief business officer to support the company’s preclinical and clinical pipeline, and expand its manufacturing business. Dr Theoharis joins Apceth from Antisense Pharma GmbH where he was head of business development. Prior to that, he was a business development director at Roche. Dr Theoharis holds a PhD in cell and gene therapy from Imperial College London.
Apceth announced the appointment on 5 September 2013.
