Imperial Innovations Plc has appointed Anjum Ahmed, formerly controller, to the position of treasury and finance director, replacing Julian Smith. Before joining Imperial, Mr Ahmed was finance director of a venture capital-backed start-up and also has held senior financial positions at GlaxoSmithKline Plc, BBC Worldwide and the British Red Cross. Imperial Innovations is a UK-based technology transfer group with a portfolio of 78 companies.
It announced the appointment on 17 April 2013.
