This virtual conference will bring together experts in microbiology to discuss innovations in preventing contamination in the manufacture of pharmaceuticals. Conference sessions will cover alternative methods for endotoxin testing and rapid mycoplasma testing, as well as the implementation of in-line bio-burden monitoring to control water systems. A significant part of the conference will focus on contamination control strategies. There will also be a regulatory session discussing objectionable organisms in non-sterile drug products. Finally, there will be an all-woman panel discussion on preparing women to be successful microbiologists.
