Vincent Lawton, formerly managing director of Merck Sharp & Dohme UK, has been elected to the board of directors of Addex Pharmaceuticals Ltd of Geneva, Switzerland. He will serve a three-year term.
Mr Lawton retired in 2006. While at MSD UK, he oversaw the launch of 11 new products. He was also vice president of MSD Europe and altogether he worked for the Merck & Co subsidiaries for 26 years.
