Roger Lloyd, a former executive director for global licensing at AstraZeneca Plc, has been appointed a non-executive director at Alizyme Plc, the Cambridge, UK specialty biopharmaceutical company.
Dr Lloyd will be joined on the Alizyme board by Richard de Souza, who is chairman and chief executive of Archimedes Pharma Ltd, which is also a specialty pharmaceutical company. Both executives will take up their new positions on 1 April 2009.
