Sanofi-aventis has appointed Laure Thibaud as senior vice president, communications and as a member of its group management committee. She was previously global executive vice president for communications at the financial services company, AXA Group. Before that, she worked in a number of communications positions at GlaxoSmithKline for a period of 17 years.
Ms Thibaud will report to sanofi’s chief executive officer, Christopher Viehbacher.
