Novasep, a France-based contract manufacturing organisation, has appointed Thierry van Nieuwenhove as president of its synthesis business unit. He joins Novasep from Ajinomoto Omnichem NV, which manufactures synthetic molecules. Mr van Nieuwenhove was educated as a bioengineer and holds a masters degree in chemistry and biochemistry from the Catholic University of Louvain in Belgium.
Novasep announced the appointment on 16 January 2014.
