Promethera Bioscience SA, a Belgian cell therapy company, has created a scientific and medical advisory board which will be chaired by Massimo Pinzani, a professor of medicine and clinical hepatologist. Dr Pinzani is also director of the University College London Institute for Liver and Digestive Health and chair of hepatology at UCL.
The other five newly appointed members of the board are Anil Dhawan, professor of paediatric hepatology at King’s College Hospital, London; Sanjeev Gupta, professor of medicine and pathology at Albert Einstein College in New York City; Michael Ott, associate professor of experimental hepatology at the Hannover Medical School in Germany; Andreas Nuessler, professor of experimental medicine at the Eberhard Karls University Tuebingen and Patrice Cani, a professor with an interest in metabolism and nutrition, at UCL in Brussels, Belgium.
