Pheon Therapeutics Ltd, a developer of antibody-drug conjugates, has appointed Cyrus Mozayeni as chief executive, following the departure of Bertrand Damour. Dr Mozayeni has been an entrepreneur in residence at Atlas Venture where he co-founded and led Vedere Bio Inc, a gene therapy developer which was sold to Novartis in 2020. Dr Mozayeni received his medical degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine and holds a bachelor of science degree in neuroscience from Brown University in the US.
Pheon Therapeutics announced the appointment on 25 July 2023.
