BioFocus, a member of the Galápagos NV group, has appointed Peter Rehse to the position of senior director in charge of structural biology and fragment-based screening. Dr Rehse joins BioFocus from Shanghai Medicilon Inc, a Chinese contract research organization, where he was responsible for the strategy and scientific development of that company’s structural biology and structure-based drug design unit. Prior to this, he worked at RIKEN Harima Institute in Japan
BioFocus announced the appointment on 11 February 2013.
