Karus Therapeutics Ltd has appointed Penelope Ward, previously chief medical officer at NovImmune SA, as its new CMO. The appointment is part of the company’s expansion which recently saw the formation of a scientific advisory board and the appointment of additional research and development personnel. Dr Ward has also held senior management positions at Pharmacia & Upjohn (now Pfizer Inc), UCB SA and the Roche group.
Karus Therapeutics announced the appointment on 12 November 2013.
