LEX Diagnostics Ltd has promoted Heather Danks to the role of chief technology officer from head of molecular development as the company advances its molecular diagnostics business. Dr Danks previously worked at QuantuMDx Group Ltd as head of assay development focusing on development of a point of care diagnostics platform. She holds a PhD in genetics and cellular biology from Newcastle University, UK. During her career she has led collaborations among partners in industry, academia and the UK National Health Service.
LEX Diagnostics announced the appointment on 18 July 2023.
