Ken Haas, an expert in information technology and biotechnology, has been promoted to the position of partner at Abingworth, the international investment group. Also promoted to partner is Vin Miles, a former manager at Millennium Pharmaceuticals. Both executives are based in the US. Mr Haas has been with Abingworth since 2004 and has led investments in Clovis Oncology, Gynesonics and Intellikine. Mr Miles has been with the company since 2007 and is currently on the boards of Chiasma, Dicerna, Hydra BioSciences and Magellan Bioscience.
Abingworth announced the promotions on 10 July 2014.
