Vienna, Austria-based Hookipa Biotech AG has appointed Jörn Aldag as its chief executive officer, succeeding the company’s founder Katherine Cohen. Mr Aldag was previously CEO of uniQure NV, which developed the first approved gene therapy in the western world. Prior to this, he was CEO of Evotec AG. Mr Aldag holds business degrees from the European Business School and Harvard Business School.
Hookipa announced the appointment on 16 June 2016.
