Donato Spota has been promoted to the position of chief financial officer at Basilea Pharmaceutica Ltd from the post of global head of finance and services. He has been a member of the Basilea management team since 2002. Mr Spota holds a master degree in business administration from the University of Applied Sciences Nürtingen, Germany and a diploma in information technology from SFBI in Switzerland.
Basilea announced the appointment on 4 November 2013.
