Chris Gowland has been promoted to a new strategic role as chief operating officer at Aesica, the UK-based contract development and manufacturing organisation. Previously Mr Gowland was responsible for the company’s manufacturing sites in the UK, Germany and Italy. In his new role he will have overall responsibility for all operating strategy including setting operational standards for manufacturing of active pharmaceutical ingredients and formulated products.
Aesica announced the appointment on 29 July 2013.
