UK-based Allergy Therapeutics Plc has promoted Shaun Furlong, its financial controller, to the position of chief financial officer, effective 11 August, to oversee the group’s international business involving treatments for the diagnosis and treatment of allergic disorders. Dr Furlong previously held senior financial roles at companies across multiple sectors including Legal & General, Volution Group, and American Express. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and holds a PhD in polymer chemistry from the University of Sussex, UK.
Allergy Therapeutics announced the appointment on 10 July 2023.
