Ahmed Mousa, an attorney and biotech manager, has been appointed chief executive of Vicore Pharma Holding AB, a Swedish company developing drugs for rare lung diseases, effective in September. Mr Mousa joins from Pieris Pharmaceuticals Inc and will succeed Carl-Johan Dalsgaard who is retiring. Prior to working for Pieris, Mr Mousa was an attorney at Covington & Burling. He holds a Juris Doctor degree from Georgetown Law School and a Master’s degree in biotechnology from Johns Hopkins University in the US.
