Ten years on from the introduction of EU legislation requiring companies to conduct trials in paediatric populations for some medicines, there are many lessons to be learned. This meeting will review the experience thus far with an update on how the legislation applies to immuno-oncology, pain-free administration of drugs and vaccination. It will also examine how digital technology is being used to recruit and retain patients in trials as well as improve the quality of data collection. Finally it will review how paediatric clinical trials are executed, including how execution can differ according to geographical region.
