Thomas Werner, formerly chief executive of GlaxoWellcome Germany and GlaxoSmithKline Germany, has been nominated to the supervisory board of MediGene AG. Dr Werner has more than 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Since the start of 2009, he has been a venture partner in Venture Partner Inventages. He is also a member of the board of the Paul-Ehrlich Institute.
