Ronald Scott is to become chief executive officer of Basilea Pharmaceutica Ltd on 1 January 2013, moving up from the position of chief operating officer. He will replace Anthony Man who had decided for personal reasons to leave the company. Prior to his position as COO, Mr Scott was Basilea’s chief financial officer. He has led the company’s equity financings and its most significant business transactions.
The appointment was announced on 10 December 2012.
