Rainer Knaus joins Cell Medica as senior vice president

Rainer Knaus, an expert in the manufacturing of cell therapies, has been appointed senior vice president at the UK company, Cell Medica Ltd. The company has also appointed Mike Ramsay, formerly senior vice president of operations at Cell Genesys, as head of its US operations; Karen Hodgkin, a clinical trial expert, as head of clinical development and Tina Crombie, a project management specialist, as head of business administration. Cell Medica is a cell therapy company working on new techniques to cure human diseases based upon a treatment method called cellular immunotherapy.
