Pierre Attali appointed COO at BioAlliance

Pierre Attali, chief medical officer at BioAlliance Pharma SA, has been appointed to the position of chief operating officer. He will replace Gilles Avenard, a member of the board and deputy chief executive officer, who is resigning. Dr Attali is a medical doctor and former executive at Synthélabo, which merged with Sanofi in 1999. Sanofi-Synthélabo subsequently merged with Aventis to become Sanofi-Aventis.
