Norbert Oppitz, a veteran pharmaceutical executive, has joined Swedish Orphan Biovitrum AB to head its newly established business unit for specialty care pharmaceuticals. Mr Oppitz comes from BSN Medical GmbH where he was in charge of the Latin America region. Before that he was a member of the executive committee of Endo Pharmaceuticals Plc where he was in charge of emerging markets.
