Nigel Gaymond to head the BIA

Nigel Gaymond, a consultant and former member of the British Consulate-General in Boston, Massachusetts, US, has been appointed chief executive officer of the UK BioIndustry Association. He will take up the post in January 2010. Mr Gaymond is currently president of Gaymond International, which provides consultancy services to life science companies in Europe and the US. At the Consulate-General, he ran the commercial department, assisting UK biotechnology, healthcare and agriculture exporters.
