The Norwegian cancer company Targovax ASA has recruited Michael Bogenstaetter, a veteran pharma executive, to be its chief business officer. Mr Bogenstaetter is an independent advisor to the biopharmaceutical industry having previously worked for the Boston Consulting Group. He has also held senior business development positions at Novartis, Merck Sharp and Dohme (Merck & Co Inc) and Sanofi SA.
Mr Bogenstaetter received his PhD in organic chemistry from the University of Munich, Germany. He also holds a MBA from London Business School, UK.
Targovax announced the appointment on 8 January 2018.
