Jean-François Boussard named CEO of Biocitech

Jean-François Boussard, a consultant specialising in enterprise creation and management, has been appointed chief executive officer of Biocitech, a life science technology park in Paris, effective 1 April 2010.

Biocitech is privately-owned and provides premises and services to biotechnology, biopharmaceutical and fine chemical companies. Mr Boussard is the founder and until recently, the chief executive of Substrat, a consulting company. Prior to this he was a manager for pharmaceuticals and biotechnology at France’s innovation agency, Anvar. He started his career as a research scientist at the University of Metz in France where he completed a thesis in ecotoxicology.
