Jean-Claude Muller, special advisor to Innovation & International Relationship, has been named to the board of directors of Qiagen Suzhou, a new translational medicine R&D corporation in Suzhou, China. The center will accelerate the discovery and validation of biomarkers and create companion diagnostics for companies operating on the Chinese market. Mr Muller is a former senior vice president in research and development at Sanofi SA. He is also a member of the Editorial Board at MedNous.
Qiagen announced the appointment on 24 May 2013.
