Terry Pizzie has been promoted to the position of chief executive at Horizon Discovery Group Plc following the surprise announcement in February that Darrin Disley, the CEO for 11 years, was to step down. Mr Pizzie joined Horizon in 2017 as head of commercial operations. Prior to joining Horizon, he was head of global sales at Pacific Biosciences of California Inc. Mr Pizzie holds a degree in physiology and biochemistry from the University of Reading in the UK.
Horizon Discovery Group announced the appointment on 8 May 2018.
