Sanofi SA has appointed Peter Guenter as senior vice president, Europe, reporting to Hanspeter Spek, president of global operations. He has succeeded Belén Garijo who is joining Merck Serono. Mr Guenter holds a masters degree in physical education from the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at the University of Ghent in Belgium.
