Mauro Ajani, the chief executive of Cosmo Pharmaceuticals SpA, has been nominated to the position of chairman following the retirement of Rolf Stahel. In addition Maria Grazia Roncarolo, scientific director of the San Raffaele Scientific Institute in Milan, is being proposed as a new independent director. Cosmo is a speciality pharmaceutical company based in Lainate, Italy.
The changes to the company’s board were announced on 28 March 2012.
