Mats Pettersson, a member of the supervisory board of Lundbeck A/S since 2003, has put himself forward as a candidate for chair if re-elected to the board on 30 March 2011. This follows the decision of the current chair, Per Wold-Olsen, not to seek reelection. Mr Wold-Olsen, chairman since 2007, has said his private equity fund duties and consulting assignments for research-based business pose a conflict of interest.
