Jose Saro has joined Avacta Group Plc from Roche as chief medical officer to lead the company’s development of small protein therapeutics for cancer. At Roche, he worked in the area of translational medicine focusing on immuno-oncology and combination products. Prior to this, he was executive director of oncology global development and medical affairs at Bristol-Myers Squibb based in Paris.
Avacta announced the appointment on 12 December 2018.
