John Hutchison has announced plans to leave his position as development director of Vernalis Plc to join another company in the life sciences sector. At Vernalis, Dr Hutchison was responsible for taking potential new therapies from early pre-clinical testing through to registration and commercialisation. He was previously a board director at Cerebrus where he was also responsible for drug development.
Vernalis is a speciality pharmaceutical company which focuses on neurology and central nervous system disorders.
