Invizius Ltd of the UK has appointed Peter Stenvinkel, an expert in nephrology, to its clinical advisory board to help oversee the company’s work on treatments to reduce the inflammatory effects of dialysis. Dr Stenvinkel is professor of nephrology at Karolinska Institutet in Sweden. In addition to his academic work, he conducts translational research on the risk factors for metabolic, cardiovascular and nutritional complications of chronic kidney disease.
Invizius announced the appointment on 13 July 2022.
