Imperial Innovations appoints non-executive director

Imperial Innovations Group Plc, the UK technology transfer company, has appointed David Allen to its board of directors as a non-executive director, effective 1 August 2008. Dr Allen joins Imperial Innovations from BP Plc where he was chief of staff from 2000 to 2007. He holds a D.Phil. in physical chemistry from Hertford College, Oxford.

Imperial Innovations is an AIM-listed company which was founded in 1986 to commercialise new technologies from Imperial College London. Since that time it has entered into agreements to commercialise technology from elsewhere and now has contracts with a number of multinational companies.
