Gerben Moolhuizen has been promoted to the position of chief executive of ISA Pharmaceuticals BV, effective 1 June, having previously been chief business officer. Mr Moolhuizen helped secure ISA’s first significant collaboration in 2017 – an immuno-oncology partnership with Regeneron Pharmaceuticals Inc.
Prior to joining ISA, he was general manager at OctoPlus BV which is now part of Dr Reddy’s Laboratories. Mr Moolhuizen holds an MSc in medical biology from Utrecht University and an MBA from Erasmus University Rotterdam, both in the Netherlands.
ISA Pharmaceuticals announced the appointment on 23 May 2018.
