Georgia Gavriilidou, former senior legal adviser at the European Medicines Agency, has joined Sidley Austin LLP in London, UK as a member of the firm’s global life sciences practice. She will help advise companies on life-cycle product management and other issues. In her role at the EMA, Ms Gavriilidou served as the chief legal adviser on issues such as fixed-dose combination medicinal products and orphan and paediatric medicines. She also played a role in the implementation of the Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products Regulation (ATMP) and pharmacovigilance legislation.
