Genticel SA, which is developing vaccines for human papillomavirus, has appointed Didier Hoch to its supervisory board. Dr Hoch was formerly president of Sanofi-Pasteur MSD, the joint vaccine venture between Sanofi SA and Merck & Co.
Prior to this, he was vice president of Africa and the Middle East at Aventis Pharma International. Dr Hoch is currently an independent board member of TcL Pharma (now Effimune) and chairman of Pevion Biotech Ltd. In addition, he chairs the biotechnology committee of LEEM, the French pharmaceutical industry association, and is president of the life science health committee of MEDEF, the French employers association.
