Pevion Biotech Ltd, a Swiss vaccine developer specialising in virosome technology, has appointed Didier Hoch as chairman of its board of directors.
Dr Hoch was previously president of Sanofi Pasteur MSD, a joint venture between Sanofi Pasteur and Merck Sharp & Dohme. There, he was involved with the European launch of advanced vaccines, including Gardasil, a prophylactic vaccine against the human papillomavirus.
Dr Hoch is president of the biotechnology committee of the French pharmaceutical industry association, LEEM, and president of the life science health committee of the French employers association, MEDEF.
