H. Lundbeck A/S has hired Andreas Eggert from Pfizer to fill the new position of vice president for global product strategy with responsibility for launching new drugs. Mr Eggert was previously an executive at Wyeth, which is now part of Pfizer.
Mr Eggert will report to Stig Løkke Pedersen, executive vice president of commercial operations, and to Anders Gersel Pedersen, executive vice president of drug development. His first task will be to prepare the launch of two products that are in late-stage clinical development: nalmefene for alcohol dependence and LUAA21004 for depression.
Mr Eggert was most recently vice president and global business manager at Pfizer (formerly Wyeth). Prior to this, he was senior director and then executive director of new product marketing at Wyeth Japan and director of global strategic marketing at Wyeth USA.
