Active Biotech AB has appointed Helén Tuvesson, currently head of preclinical development, to the position of chief scientific officer, effective 1 April 2011. She will report to the chief executive, Tomas Leanderson. Dr Tuvesson joined Active Biotech in 1998 and has worked in a number of management positions including that of helping oversee research and development.
