Actelion Ltd has appointed Otto Schwarz as chief operating officer. He had been in charge of business strategy and operations since 2008.
Based on the outskirts of Basel, Switzerland, Actelion specialises in pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). Its main product for treating PAH is an oral dual endothelin receptor antagonist called Tracleer (bosentan).
