OMass Therapeutics Ltd, a 2016 spin-out from the University of Oxford, has raised $310 million in a Series C financing to support development of its lead programme for congenital adrenal hyperplasia and ACTH-dependent Cushing’s syndrome. Both conditions are rare hormone disorders that feature high levels of the adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH) produced by the pituitary gland. OMass’s lead product, OMS1620, is a small molecule drug that binds to a receptor on the adrenal glands to normalise hormone levels.
