Toby Reid, an entrepreneur and business development expert, has been appointed to the new post of director, BioCity Nottingham, a UK business incubator for the life sciences. Launched in 2003, BioCity Nottingham is a home for 75 companies employing more than 700 life science professionals. Mr Reid, a chartered civil engineer, will oversee operations and development of the centre. His appointment will free the centre’s chief executive, Glenn Crocker, to focus on long-term strategic planning.
