The Roche group has announced the appointment of Thomas Schinecker as president of 454 Life Sciences Inc, Roche’s DNA sequencing centre. The centre is located in Branford, Connecticut, US. Dr Schinecker is currently general manager of diagnostics in Sweden. He holds a PhD in oncology having studied at New York University.
