Sygnature Discovery Ltd has appointed Bill Marathias, a former Pfizer Inc scientist, as head of business development for the US. Dr Marathias holds a PhD in chemistry from Wesleyan University, US and did post-doctoral work at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology researching the structure and function of chemotherapeutic/drug-DNA/drug-protein interactions. In addition to his work at Pfizer, he was a senior applications scientist in sales and marketing at Agilent Technologies Inc.
Sygnature Discovery announced the appointment on 1 June 2018.
