Sven Jan-Anders Karlsson has been appointed chief executive officer at Verona Pharma Plc, effective 1 June. Dr Karlsson was formerly the chief executive at S*Bio, a drug discovery company based in Singapore. Before that, he was executive vice president of pharmaceutical global research at Bayer Healthcare.
Verona Pharma Plc announced the appointment on 1 May 2012.
