Sanofi SA has appointed David-Alexandre Gros as chief strategy officer, effective 1 September, 2011. His brief will be to cover all of the group’s business development and acquisition activities as well as alliance management.
He joins Sanofi from Centerview Partners in San Francisco, California where he was a founding member of their healthcare investment banking division. He obtained an MD from the Johns Hopkins Medical School and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
