Nicholas Adams, formerly vice president of business development at Antisoma Plc, has been named chief business officer at Clavis Pharma ASA. Mr Adams replaces Jan Alfheim, who has taken up the position of managing director at Nordic Nanovector AS. Mr Adams has more than 23 years of experience in the healthcare industry, of which 12 were spent as a senior executive at Antisoma. Prior to this, he spent 11 years at Ciba-Geigy (now Novartis), at Eisai and Covance. He has a degree in biology from the University of Hertfordshire and postgraduate qualifications in law from the College of Law in London.
